About

This was an elaborate Christmas Gift I made for Boopie and was designed to be played on her phone. It was loosely based on the divine beast "dungeons" in Zelda: Breath of the Wild, except the dungeon is the house we were in at the time.

Boopie would need to drag and rotate the house around to identify what room the next puzzle would be in, and have to use real world clues to solve the puzzle in the game. Finding the correct solution to the puzzle would unlock a Christmas gift, and proceed with the story.

I left the project available to play, but it contains many references and inside jokes that won't make sense to most players. It also references other games in the Zelda series.

I included a "Solve" mechanic in case she got stuck on a particular puzzle, as well as for demonstration purposes for those who wanted to check out the project. Clicking on it will automatically solve the puzzle and proceed.

The project was developed in Unity in 5 weeks and was both extremely challenging and rewarding to create. This was my first WebGL project and was not aware of some critical audio limitations until it was too late, so the project has no audio.

Special thanks to and Hunter Paramore for creating the Zelda: BOTW UI Kit:
